AC/DC are back, with arguably their best album at least since The Razors Edge and their first new music since 2014. They first unleashed a new single onto the world “Shot In The Dark.”
The song sees the line-up of Angus Young [lead guitar], Brian Johnson [lead vocals], Cliff Williams [bass guitar], Phil Rudd [drums] and Stevie Young [rhythm guitar] firing on all cylinders once again.
Charged up for the next decade, AC/DC let rip twelve new tracks, proudly maintaining their signature sound and all of its powerful hallmarks.
In typical Cold Chisel style, there’s a potpourri of ideas, sounds and genres across Blood Moon – from the chooglin’ boogie of the first single Getting The Band Back Together, which celebrates the weekend warrior in all of us (including the band), to the angry, visceral epic Killing Time, the high-speed oblivion of Drive, the crazed-carnival sounds of Boundary Street to Ian Moss’ soulful closer You Are So Beautiful.
The album where it all started for one of Australia's most iconic pub rock bands. Cold Chisel, the debut album which spent 23 weeks in the Australian charts, peaking at number 38 and which spawned the song that has probably been belted out more times than any other at karoake bars around Australia - KHE SANH!
A little bit of trivia with the album cover, in the foreground is Micki Brathwaite, wife of Daryl Braithwaite.
'Daddy Who?… Daddy Cool' was the debut album by Australian rock band Daddy Cool. Released in July, 1971 it was the first on Robie Porter's Sparmac label. What a debut album, with iconic song Eagle Rock and also Come Back Again featuring.

'Edge' was first released in November 1988. It reached No. 1 on the Australian ARIA Charts for 3 weeks in 1989. Braithwaite toured the album across Australia and New Zealand in 1989 and the album was certified 3x platinum in October 1989. It's Daryl, c'mon!
Sydney Singer / Songwriter Dean Ray recently released his stripped back ‘4 Trak Sessions Volume One’

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Dean, a raw and candid chat about the impact that 2020 had on him personally and also his plans musically. Hopefully Dean convinced you to buy this album during that interview?!

Kiwi rock icons Shihad release their new studio album OLD GODS August 27th, 2021. If anger is an energy, then OLD GODS – Shihad’s 10th studio album since forming in Wellington in 1988 – could singlehandedly power a capital city for a year.
OLD GODS is a step into fury for frontman Jon Toogood whose lyrics encapsulate our collective anger at recent world events. The result is an album that states its intent from the moment the crushing, grinding riff of opener ‘Tear Down Those Names’ explodes to life, and just one song later Toogood urges for the killing of the ‘old gods’ in the title track. Elsewhere, Toogood takes aim at conservative talk radio, the legitimization of racism, and the radicalization of a generation fuelled by misinformation.

Diorama includes singles like 'The Greatest View' and 'Without You' and was originally released on vinyl in 2002 here in Australia but only available in very small quantities.
