With rescheduled UK & Ireland tour dates being announced imminently, Cormac Neeson has released the official music video for his latest single, Do Something Today, lifted from his acclaimed White Feather album.

Directed by William De Ritter, the music video was shot on Super 8 film and harks back to an older early 90’s style. Says Neeson, “I’ve always wanted to shoot a video on Super 8 and this seemed like the perfect song to live out that dream. We shot the whole thing in and around an old school arcade in my hometown which hasn’t lost the classic feel it had when it was me hanging about the place wondering what the future had in store. They were great days even if I didn’t fully realise it at the time. The video is set in the 90s and I think William (the director) captured that retro throwback vibe perfectly.”

The album, White Feather, which was due for a deluxe re-issue and release worldwide in May, has been delayed to later in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but will drop prior to Neeson’s solo tour dates.

The deluxe edition is 16 tracks including two brand new studio recordings, three bonus tracks and the new radio mix of latest single Do Something Today. Originally released only as a 10 track limited edition, White Feather was a top 5 album in the official UK Country Rock charts and received critical acclaim across the board, one that will sit easily alongside the classic singer – songwriter narrative albums.

Cormac states: “I’m thrilled to be able to take my White Feather songs out on the road and to be able to finally perform them in a true singer-songwriter setting. It’s going to feel very special to get back out again especially after all the lockdown uncertainty of the present world! It promises to be a joyous and uplifting tour and we are so looking forward to it. My label Social Family are working incredibly hard behind the scenes and we are confident that the reissue of White Feather will be available before the tour starts!”

Multi-Platinum rock band Angels & Airwaves have returned with the searing new single “Euphoria.”

Bristling with incendiary guitars, explosive drums and spacey electronic elements, the infectious track captures the allure of an edgy romance.

To launch the single, the band activated Project Dreamland, which disseminated cassette players, tapes and evidence files to a number of fans, enabling them to unlock the countdown to today’s release of “Euphoria” via Rise Records/BMG.

The provocative official video for “Euphoria” was unveiled today in a YouTube Premiere. Angels & Airwaves’ Tom DeLonge directed, weaving a tale of intrigue complete with a femme fatale, her lover, a mysterious motorcyclist, Area 51 intelligence and a tour de force performance by the band.

In a music world that seems to be absent guitars, angst, and emotional authenticity, I felt it was important to lead with a song that mirrors the post-hardcore days of my youth, where the power of the music creates that feeling we once had as teenagers, where we wanted to break something and change the poisonous environment within our broken homes,” explains Tom DeLonge. “These emotions create us. This song shows the seductive nature of an intense love built with that baggage from our youth, from being born into an imperfect household.”

Angels & Airwaves (AVA) – comprising Tom DeLonge (lead vocals, guitar/synths), Ilan Rubin (drums/guitar/backing vocals/synths), David Kennedy (guitar) and Matt Rubano (bass) – wrote and produced “Euphoria” with Aaron Rubin. Rich Costey (Foo Fighters, Weezer) mixed the track, which marks the first new music from the band since “All That’s Left Is Love,” which was released in April 2020. Hailed as an “empowering anthem” by SPIN, the song conveyed a message of hope amid the pandemic. Continuing the band’s longstanding relationship with Feeding America, proceeds from “All That’s Left Is Love” were donated to the non-profit’s COVID-19 relief fund.

DeLonge, a founding member of Blink-182, formed Angels & Airwaves in 2005. The band has released five full-length albums and charted numerous hits, including “The Adventure,” “The War,” “Everything’s Magic” and “Rebel Girl.” The Dream Walker, released in 2014, hit No. 1 on iTunes and No. 5 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart. A multimedia project, the album was accompanied by a graphic novel, comic books and the short film Poet Anderson, co-directed by DeLonge, which won Best Animated Short Film at the Toronto International Short Film Festival.

In addition to his work with AVA, DeLonge created To The Stars, a multimedia entertainment company that creates original content across music, film, television and publishing. DeLonge served as executive producer of The History Channel series “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation” and will make his feature film directorial debut with the forthcoming Monsters of California.

Angels & Airwaves will perform at Lollapalooza 2021, which will take place in Chicago July 29 to August 1. The band will also play a pair of headline shows on October 23 at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom and November 5 at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The Dead Daisies wows its fandom on every level, serving up a feast of rock music and storytelling on every digital channel using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine

As the world slowly comes out of lockdown, rock group THE DEAD DAISIES today blasts out of the gates with a smorgasbord of treats for rock fans all over the world. Releasing their latest single Like No Other and using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine (best known for the hit game Fortnite), the band worked with Creative Works London to create the video and its own mobile game DAISYS REVENGE. The Dead Daisies are taking it up a level at the intersection of the entertainment industry where rock music meets gaming.

Committed to making the music from their widely acclaimed, chart-storming album Holy Ground as accessible as possible throughout the pandemic, the band decided to cover every possible touchpoint with their music and the story of Daisy, their eponymous heroine.

LIKE NO OTHER – THE SINGLE & VIDEO

Out today, the latest radio edit single featuring drummer Tommy Clufetos ‘Like No Other’, is the fifth to be released from the HOLY GROUND project. This is accompanied by a new video which continues the narrative of Daisy who starred in the video on one of their previous singles entitled ‘Bustle And Flow’.

DAISY’S REVENGERETRO MOBILE GAME

That narrative continues with the launch of a rock-fuelled rapid-fire retro mobile game, Daisys Revenge, based on the popular ‘Duck Hunt’ console game of the 80s. The game follows Daisy on her quest through Daisyland and streams HOLY GROUND throughout, thrilling and challenging the player while they rock out!

The Dead Daisies worked with London-based agency Creative Works, to develop this inventive way of creating new and meaningful connections with rock fans while they waited for live events to be rescheduled. Taking the graphics and narrative from The Dead Daisies chart topping music video ‘Bustle and Flow’, Daisys Revenge, a free to play mobile game, is a world-first for the music industry. Featuring supernatural heroine Daisy, it transforms the music’s video’s narrative into a high impact, fast-paced, loud and rocking, FPS game.

Rock while you play Daisys Revenge! Available to download on the App Store & Google Play Store now.

THE DEAD DAISIES – LIVE SHOWS

The excitement doesn’t stop there with the same storyline featuring as part of the live shows with the first dates announced kicking off 23rd June in the US and more dates to be announced in the coming months as live shows return globally.

“The Dead Daisies are known for creating unique and engaging fan experiences” said rock impresario David Edwards, the band’s manager. “We like to innovate and connect with rock music fans on every level – we already have live podcasts, and a show on Monsters of Rock radio and now with the game and video we can further extend the music’s reach while keeping fans guessing what Daisy will do next.”

This ground-breaking multi-platform interconnecting narrative, first sees Daisy emerging from the Daisyland underworld in the Bustle and Flow music video. Then she dominates in the Daisys Revenge mobile game, setting player challenges in Daisyland, and her journey continues with The Dead Daisies latest single release ‘Like No Other’ where the story picks up, following Daisy who has travelled to the future to face a new enemy.

The catalyst for this pioneering approach came as a result of the global pandemic seeing the postponement of all of 2020’s live music tours. Live music shows are the lifeblood of the music circuit. Now, music fans and especially fans of The Dead Daisies, ‘one of the most exciting bands in modern rock’ have a concert in their pocket. And with the announcement of a raft of global tour dates set for the second half of 2021 The Dead Daisies music is now accessible on every platform: Live and Digital.

There is more to come: Daisys Revenge is the first of a series of planned media brands from The Dead Daisies. Talks are underway with major players to create DAISYLAND, the TV series.
