EP Launch show announced for Halloween October 31st in Perth
Perth rock act The Silent Deeds recently announced the release of their new EP “Down With Me” which will be out October 23rd.
The band have now also released a brand new video, produced by Task Force Films for the latest single “Come Alive” which the track is also available on all major digital platforms at: http://smarturl.it/silentdeeds.
To celebrate, the band will launch the first of a series of shows across WA with a special event on Saturday October 31st Halloween at Lyric’s Underground in Maylands, Perth. Supporting at the event will be solo artist Amber Reid and 4 piece rock outfit Ezra Tide. Pre-sale tickets available via Oztix.
The EP “Down With Me” features two previously released singles “The Race” and “Come Alive” with two new tracks “Down With Me” and “Ghosts” recorded earlier this year at Hammerspace Recording and produced by Troy Nababan. The artwork was handled by Disconnect London in the UK.
The band comments on the new EP: “It’s been five years since our last EP, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to release this rocker to the public. It’s the heaviest, catchiest and funkiest set of songs we’ve ever released. Down with Me (EP) captures the essence our new deeds sound, mashed together with a unique blend of hard hitting drums, funky bass and balls out guitars!”
Hailing from Perth WA, The Silent Deeds draw on influences from a variety of musical styles including Foo Fighters, U2, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Beatles.
The band have been an active group in the Perth scene for a few years and have released an EP ‘Desert Town’ and a string of singles ‘Rusty Chair, Sixty Three, Here We Go, Sweet September & The Race’ while pulling in crowds at various venues in Perth and around W.A. including a sold out launch show in 2018.
The Silent Deeds performed their first stadium show in 2019, as the official musical act of the 2019 WAFL Grand Final at Optus Stadium in Perth. The Deeds join a select few superstars (Queen, U2, Taylor Swift, Eminem) that have performed their originals at the 60,000 seat stadium. Later that same year the band travelled to Melbourne for their first interstate show, performing alongside Palace Of The King, WARBIRDS and more as part of The Rockpit’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
Having also supported the likes of US rockers Fuel and Melbourne’s own Taxiride, The Silent Deeds are looking to capitalise on growing interest as the band looks to the future with more releases and touring being planned. The band most recently signed with Krunch Entertainment for a management deal, more news to come!

Adrian Smith & Richie Kotzen Release Third Single ‘Running’ – Debut Album Out March 26
BMG are proud to announce the worldwide release of the debut album Smith/Kotzen by Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen on March 26.
Running is the third single from the upcoming album and follows on from
Taking My Chances & Scars
Check it out here smith-kotzen.lnk.to/albumPR
Adrian says of the song, “It’s a really cool sort of driving track, one of the heavier ones on the album and we’re excited to get it out there ahead of the album release. We’ve both been thrilled by the reaction to our music so far and are very much looking forward to meeting up again as soon as we can, to write some more songs together.”
Richie adds, “Running was the first song Adrian and I worked on. Adrian came in with that heavy verse riff which lead me to conjuring up what lives as our chorus to the composition. Running is surely one of my top three favourites on the Smith/Kotzen album and I really look forward to playing this one live”.
As well as the duo co-writing, co-producing and sharing guitars and vocals, Richie also plays bass and drums on the track.
With the two previous singles Taking My Chances and cars having been enthusiastically welcomed by fans and media alike, Running is the perfect final choice ahead of the eponymous album release on March 26 to showcase the astonishing breadth of talent and musical diversity between this unique pairing of two of rock’s most respected artists.

Watch the video for The Wisdom Of Mountains now at:
The Wisdom of Mountains contrasts the seemingly unbearable storm of emotions that follow loss, grief and betrayal with the serenity and stillness of mountain landscapes. Intrøspect explore new sounds in Wisdom through the blending of complex string arrangements with reverb-laden clean guitars, topped with vocalist Felicity Jayne’s sonorous voice to create ethereal soundscapes not often explored in heavier genres.
The bands drummer, Hugo Rumore comments, “The recording process for The Wisdom of Mountains with Chris (Blancato) was interesting, because he saw a lot of potential for the song – and we spent a long time workshopping to really define the parts and make sure that the drums were really supporting the song in the best way that they could. We spent a lot of time on small details, which really completes the song, in my opinion!!”
Pre orders for Midnight Sun are available now
