Thunder have announced an online TV special, where they will exclusively perform tracks from their forthcoming album ‘All The Right Noises’, as well as some of their classic hits from years gone by.
The show will take place at 6:00am on Sunday, March 14 AEDT and will be streamed for 48 hours afterwards, enabling ticket buyers to watch as many times as they like during that period.
The live studio performance will be filmed with adherence to Covid-19 restrictions, and will feature collaborators who played and sang on ‘All The Right Noises’.
Singer, Danny Bowes says of the forthcoming show, “As soon as we made the announcement to move our arena shows back to 2022, we decided we can’t wait until then to play the new tunes. Fans have been asking us for a streamed gig since the first lock down began, but we’ve resisted until now, because it can’t be a proper Thunder live show without them in the room. The format we’ve come up with will involve our fan club members via video for some of it, so they’ll see us performing, and get to ask us questions too. It’s not the same as a live show, but it’s not meant to be. When the show goes out, we’re hoping it’ll feel less like a gig, and more like a TV show, with us playing these brilliant new tunes, and loads of screaming nutters in their front rooms. What can go wrong?”

Thunder Channel (Patreon) fanclub members will also be given exclusive access to watch sections of the filming as it takes place, and take part in a Q&A session with the band via video.
Thunder will release their brand new album, ‘All The Right Noises’ on March 12 via BMG. The album is a return to the full-throttle sound of Thunder that has seen them create a hugely successful 30+ year career at the forefront of British rock.
Listen to the most recent single released from the album, ‘Going to Sin City’,
‘All The Right Noise’ will be available in 1CD, 2CD, 2LP, and 4LP formats, with the 2CD and 4LP releases containing bonus tracks.
The LP versions feature a stunning pop-out of the ‘Singing Ringing Tree’ which appears of the album’s glorious artwork. The photo cover art was shot by the band’s long term collaborator Jason Joyce. The sculpture, which also appears in the video for ‘Last One Out Turn Off The Lights’, is set in Burnley, Lancashire, and resembles a tree which harnesses the energy of the wind to create a choral, discordant sound.
‘All The Right Noises’ follows on from 2019’s stripped back and reimagined album, ‘Please Remain Seated’ which continued their consecutive Top 10 UK Album Chart run since their ecstatically received comeback six years ago.
It is another chapter in the band’s incredibly successful history that has seen them create a succession of some of the most highly-regarded rock albums of the past 30 years. The key to their renown: brilliantly conceived top-drawer material including all-time classics like ‘Dirty Love’, and ‘Low Life In High Places’, described by the late great Radio One Rock Show presenter Tommy Vance as “the greatest ever single released by a rock band”.
With their most recent success, Thunder have proven themselves as vital now as when they emerged with their debut album in 1990 ‘Backstreet Symphony’, and their hit follow-up in 1992 ‘Laughing On Judgement Day’, which was only kept off the top spot by Kylie Minogue.

SoSo Unveil The Rousing New Single ‘Yeah Nah’
Sydney-based pop-punk quintet SoSo have just revealed their assertive new single ‘Yeah Nah’ – produced by Stevie Knight (Trophy Eyes, Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Hands Like Houses, Underoath).
‘Yeah Nah’ finds SoSo at their most forthright, diving headfirst into social commentary surrounding Sydney’s lockout laws and drug enforcement policies, through the use of quintessential Australianisms and gratifying pop-punk. The track frantically races and builds to its climatic, rambunctious bridge that delivers the anthemic line of rebellion “we all know you’re fucking liars”!
Lead singer Rhys de Burgh talks about the inspiration behind ‘Yeah Nah’:
“’Yeah Nah’ originated as a bit of a joke song and ended up a rebellious, energetic earworm. The track is a big call out of the shitty lockout laws that killed so many Sydney music venues, archaic drug enforcement policies and the true enemy of live music – poker machines. Fuck pokies.”
To coincide with the release, the band will support mates RedHook at La La La’s in Wollongong, before performing ‘Yeah Nah’ launch shows at the Rhythm Hut in the Central Coast, The Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney and Diamond Dogs Music Lounge in Dapto. Due to the worldwide pandemic, SoSo only played their first live show in November 2020, but have since supported Sydney contemporaries These New South Wales, FANGZ and Down For Tomorrow.
Previous singles have been widely embraced by Spotify and Apple Music, and Australian radio stations triple j, triple j Unearthed, 4ZZZ, SYN FM, Aussie Music Weekly, 89.7 FM and 96.5 Inner FM. They’ve also seen support from online blogs NME (AUS), Life Without Andy, Blunt Magazine, Hysteria Magazine, HEAVY Mag, The AU Review and The Soundcheck.
In the coming weeks, SoSo will reveal an accompanying music video for ‘Yeah Nah’ featuring social media personality Frenchy and shot on location at The Lansdowne Hotel.
‘Yeah Nah’ will be available worldwide on Thursday, February 25

Kingswood Unleash New Single ‘You Make It So Easy` Out NOW!
Kingswood just keep rolling! Following on from the release of singles “Say You Remember” and “Bittersweet”, the Melbourne four-piece blister through global pandemics throughout 2020/2021 with their latest single, the high-octane “You Make It So Easy”.
Although COVID has thwarted the touring plans of musicians globally – Kingswood continue to charge, dropping bread crumbs along the way in preparation for that sweet, sweet loaf when the world is finally given that wonderful green light.
A dynamic force on stage, the ARIA nominated group has enjoyed strong success on the road in Australia and abroad, with a tour history that counts tours with AC/DC and Aerosmith, festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Groovin The Moo; and multiple sold out tours across the country as proud achievements. Kingswood have been invited as special guests for the Baby Animals 30th Anniversiary tour (date’s listed below).
The journey towards the release of “Juveniles” has been one paved creative reinvention. Throughout the album, fans can piece together definitive elements of music that has formed Kingswood’s dynamic musical identity over the course of six years of relentless touring and recording. “You Make It So Easy” shines as an incendiary example of the band’s love for guitar-driven rock music; some may say it aligns itself strongly with the music of “Microscopic Wars”, however looking more broadly at Kingswood’s body of work, the progressions and stylistic arrangement of the band’s latest represents their genre- diverse tapestry of individual music tastes.
Melodically rich and delivered with the punch 2017’s “After Hours, Close To Dawn” became synonymous with, “You Make It So Easy” shines is Kingswood at their unfiltered best. It’s a temperament that Kingswood applied to “Juveniles” as a whole. Embracing creative chaos has led the band to make music that has refused to be pigeonholed over the last handful over years, and it’s the way they like it. “You Make It So Easy” was originally inspired by the new acquaintances, and the exciting tales an and adventures that unfold whilst reminding you of what you’ve always been drawn to.
A truly global record, Kingswood’s new music came to fruition across multiple writing and recording sessions across the US, UK and Europe. Through it all, the dynamic between chief songwriter Alex Laska and front-man Fergus Linacre strengthened and diversified in personal – as well as combined – style and delivery. Working with frequent collaborator and producer Eddie Spear in their second home of Nashville, the record was an emotional one to solidify.
“The album we’re finally presenting was an incredibly long and winding investigation through many different facets and avenues; almost a rediscovery, if you will, of who we are and what we find inspiring.” Alex Laska
